The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver wishes to inform the Filipino community in the Province of Alberta and its adjacent cities that the Consulate General will provide a Passport Consular Outreach Program on Friday, 22, Saturday, 23 and Sunday, 24 August 2008 in Calgary, Alberta at the Philippine Honorary Consulate General in Calgary with the following contact address:

Further to Press Release - 13/08 dated 25 June 2008 on cash donations to assist relief operations for victims of Typhoon Frank in the Philippines, the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver informs the public that it has been authorized by the Department of Foreign Affairs to accept cash donations for donors who prefer to course their assistance through the Consulate.
The Philippine Consulate General wishes to inform the public that the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Manila has already commenced the issuance of Machine Readable Passport (MRP) since the third quarter of FY 2007.
